Record Store Day Preview

So Record Store Day 2011 is tomorrow! In a musical age which is dominated by digital downloading. Record Store Day celebrates Independant Records Stores. These record stores are so significant for musical communites.

I spoke to John Tolley, the main man at Kingstons brilliant Banquet Records. He was preparing for his Record Store Day this afternoon and took ten minutes out to have a quick chat about what’s going on tomorrow.

Record Store day has seen some artists come together and release exclusive tracks on mainly vinyl! It’s a great way of getting people into their local record store. So make sure when tomorrow comes, you go to your Local Record Store, be it Banquet, Rough Trade or the many more around London. Here a few that I think you might be interested in.
